Effective 5 October 2026
At a glance
Oh My Gods! is a game for children, provided by Nearlight Creative Services in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The game does not collect personal information. It has no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no analytics, no in-game chat and no links that lead children out of the game. Nothing about a player is sent to us or to anyone else.
What the game stores on the device
The game saves the player’s progress, such as levels completed, heroes unlocked and the chosen save slot, together with sound and music settings. This information is kept in the game’s private storage on the device, so that play can continue between sessions. It never leaves the device because of anything the game does.
What we do not collect
- names, email addresses, ages or birthdays
- photos, microphone recordings, contacts or location. The game does not ask for any of these permissions
- advertising identifiers, or any data used to track a player across other apps or websites
- usage analytics or crash data sent from the game to us
Third parties
The game does not include advertising, analytics or other third-party software that collects data. The game does not ask a child to sign in, share anything or contact anyone.
Apple services
Apple provides the App Store, and may provide aggregate sales and diagnostic reports to developers according to the choices made in each person’s own device settings. Those reports do not identify individual players. Purchases, if any are offered in future, are handled by Apple, and we never receive payment card details.
Retention and deletion
Because we hold no information about players, there is nothing on our side to retrieve or delete. Deleting the game from the device removes its saved progress and settings. Device backups made by Apple under the device owner’s own settings may contain saved progress until they are replaced.
Children and grown-ups
Oh My Gods! is designed for young children and for families playing together. Because the game collects no personal information, it does not need verifiable parental consent for data collection. A parent or guardian who has a question about the game is welcome to contact us.
If you contact us
If you email nearlightphotography@icloud.ca, we receive the address and any information you choose to include. We use it to reply and to resolve your request, and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose or required by law. We do not add anyone to marketing lists. Please have an adult write, and avoid sending children’s photos or sensitive details.
Changes to this policy
If the game ever changes in a way that affects privacy, such as adding online features, we will update this policy first, date the change here and in the game, and obtain any consent the law requires before turning those features on.
